What do I need to install?

Nothing! If you are viewing this page, you already have a web browser - the only software you need on your computer to use Canopy Art System.  (top)

Which browsers are supported?

We currently support:
 Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
 Firefox 2.0 or higher
 and Safari 3.1 and higher.

If it is on the internet, can everyone see my data?

A user ID and password is required to see any gallery data. Canopy Art System is for use only by you and your gallery staff. We use best industry practices to safeguard your data.
We can certainly help you get Canopy data into your own web site for public viewing and sales. We're flexible to all situations and types of web sites.  (top)

How many people can log in at the same time?

With a gallery account, you may create as many logins as you need, each with a custom set of priviliges. All of your users are able to use the system at the same time. We do recommend that everyone logs in with a unique user ID and password.  (top)

Does the system use inventory numbers?

It is your choice! You get to specify if you work with inventory numbers or not, as well as if you'd like the system to generate them automatically. In addition, you can specify if you want the inventory auto-complete boxes to accept inventory number or title.  (top)

What image formats can I upload?

You may upload images as jpeg/jpg, gif, png, bmp, or wmf files. Once an image is uploaded, we keep the image in the highest quality .Jpeg format.  (top)

How many records can I have in the database?

There is no limit to the number of records you may create.  (top)

What if I need a new report or data field?

If you find that you'd really like to have a certain report, data field, or other feature that we don't already have, please ask! Canopy is your system - it should do what you need it to do. We love getting feedback and hope the system evolves to meet all of our customers' needs.  (top)

What happens to my data if I decide to cancel my supscription?

Should you decide to cancel your account, we will make the transition as smooth as possible. You always have the ability to export your data to files through the reporting interface. Once an account is officially closed, we will send the account holder all data in easy-to-use data files.  (top)

Can I get a demonstration of Canopy Art System?

We would love to demonstrate Canopy to see if it meets your needs. We are able to do demonstrations using the internet, making it easy for you. Please contact us if you are interested.  (top)
